# Delicious Skillet Apple Crisp with Oatmeal Crumble Topping
This delicious skillet apple crisp is full of flavor and texture! Sweet apples are topped with a crunchy oatmeal crumble topping. With just a few ingredients you can have this easy and tasty dessert prepared in no time.
Ingredients:
• 5 apples (we recommend Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), cored and thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
• 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
3. Transfer mixture to a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
4. In the same bowl, combine oats, melted butter, and pecans.
5. Sprinkle oat mixture over apple mixture.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until apples are soft and topping is golden brown.
7. Serve warm with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Enjoy!
