This Spinach, Feta and Nutmeg Quiche is a delicious and easy to make brunch recipe. A flaky and buttery crust is filled with a creamy and savory egg custard, spinach, feta, and nutmeg. It is the perfect meal for a special occasion or a relaxed weekend morning.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 3 cups of fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of light cream or half-and-half
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
- Roll out the puff pastry and press it into the prepared pie dish. Trim off any excess and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork a few times and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, feta cheese, and nutmeg. Stir until they are well mixed.
