Recipe: Grilled Mediterranean Lamb Burgers with Feta and Tzatziki
These Mediterranean Lamb Burgers are packed full of flavor! Grilled to perfection and topped with feta cheese and a creamy tzatziki sauce, these burgers are sure to become a summer favorite. Serve them up with a side of grilled vegetables and a cold beer for an unforgettable meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined. Form into four patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- In a small bowl, combine the feta cheese, yogurt, cucumber, dill, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic. Mix until everything is evenly combined. Set aside.
- Toast the hamburger buns. Place the burgers onto the buns and top with the feta and tzatziki sauce.
- Serve with your favorite grilled vegetables and a cold beer.
