Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup of butter
- 1 cup of water
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup of cinnamon sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a large baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the flour mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add to the cooled dough. Beat until well-combined.
- Drop the dough by the spoonful onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
