Mushroom Marsala Pasta

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. of pasta of your choice
- 1/2 cup of Marsala wine
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 pound of mushrooms, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the butter until it melts. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and tender.
- Add the Marsala wine to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the pasta is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve warm and enjoy!
