Brown Sugar and Pineapple Glazed Meatloaf
This delicious Brown Sugar and Pineapple Glazed Meatloaf is sure to be a hit with the whole family. Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix together until evenly combined.
- Form the mix into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pineapple, and cornstarch. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
