Vegan Macaroni and Cheese with Nutritional Yeast

Ingredients:
- 1 pound macaroni
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 2 cups vegan milk
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt the vegan butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the flour and whisk until combined and let cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the vegan milk, whisking constantly to ensure there are no lumps. Let cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Whisk in the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
