Gluten-Free Lobster Mac and Cheese

This decadent and comforting gluten-free dish is perfect for special occasions or for a cozy weeknight dinner. The combination of creamy lobster macaroni and cheese with a crunchy bread crumb topping is sure to be a hit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb gluten-free elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter and set aside.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package directions and drain.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk until it is all incorporated and the mixture is thick and bubbly.
  4. Turn off the heat and stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, smoked paprika, and pepper. Add the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni and lobster meat and stir until combined.
  6. Pour the mac and cheese into the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the mac and cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mac and cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.
