Berry Avocado Smoothie with Pomegranate Juice and Greek Yogurt

This delicious and healthy smoothie combines the tartness of pomegranate juice with the sweetness of berries and creaminess of avocado for a unique and flavorful drink. Ingredients:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine the avocado, mixed berries, pomegranate juice, Greek yogurt, ice cubes and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend on high for 1 minute, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the honey and blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy.
  5. If desired, top with extra mixed berries or pomegranate seeds.
  6. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  7. To reheat, place the smoothie in a microwave-safe container and heat on high for 30 seconds.
