Berry Avocado Smoothie with Pomegranate Juice and Greek Yogurt
This delicious and healthy smoothie combines the tartness of pomegranate juice with the sweetness of berries and creaminess of avocado for a unique and flavorful drink. Ingredients:
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey
Directions:
- In a blender, combine the avocado, mixed berries, pomegranate juice, Greek yogurt, ice cubes and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high for 1 minute, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the honey and blend for an additional 30 seconds.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy.
- If desired, top with extra mixed berries or pomegranate seeds.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
