A classic combination of broccoli and cheddar cheese in a rich and savory quiche
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onion until softened.
- Add the broccoli and cook until tender.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.
- Spread the vegetable mixture over the cheese.
