Buttery Soft Butterscotch Chip Cookies
These Buttery Soft Butterscotch Chip Cookies are the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Made with a buttery soft cookie base and packed with butterscotch chips for a burst of flavor in every bite, these cookies are sure to be a hit!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until incorporated. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips.
- Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
