Chicken King with Peas and Carrots

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/4 cup Chicken King sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
  2. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened. Add the garlic powder, oregano, thyme, and pepper and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the frozen peas and carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  4. Stir in the Chicken King sauce and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
