Chicken King with Peas and Carrots
This savory and cozy dish is a perfect weeknight dinner. The combination of Chicken King, peas, and carrots comes together to create a delicious meal that’s sure to please everyone in the family. It’s easy to make and can be on the table in no time.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas and carrots
- 1/4 cup Chicken King sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Directions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened. Add the garlic powder, oregano, thyme, and pepper and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the frozen peas and carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Stir in the Chicken King sauce and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
