Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
This delicious Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a great way to use up those ripe bananas. Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Add the mashed bananas and mix until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
