Clam and Bacon Linguine

This delicious dish is the perfect mix of salty bacon and succulent clams. Served on a bed of linguine pasta, it is a comfort food classic that is sure to be a hit at your next dinner party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 1 lb bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup clam juice
  • 1 can whole clams, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the linguine. Cook until al dente, about 10 minutes, and drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with the white wine and reduce by half.
  4. Add the clam juice, clams, butter, and parsley to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked linguine and bacon to the skillet and toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
