Clam and Bacon Linguine
This delicious dish is the perfect mix of salty bacon and succulent clams. Served on a bed of linguine pasta, it is a comfort food classic that is sure to be a hit at your next dinner party.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb linguine
- 1 lb bacon, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup clam juice
- 1 can whole clams, drained and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the linguine. Cook until al dente, about 10 minutes, and drain.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with the white wine and reduce by half.
- Add the clam juice, clams, butter, and parsley to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked linguine and bacon to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
