Creamy Fettuccine with Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente, according to package directions.
