Crispy Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Place the panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a third bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the panko mixture. Make sure the chicken is completely coated.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
