Crispy Molasses Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, for rolling
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves; set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the molasses and egg.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
