Dark Chocolate Espresso Brownies
Treat yourself with this mouth watering Dark Chocolate Espresso Brownies. These moist, chewy and gooey brownies are the perfect mix of dark chocolate and espresso, creating an intense and delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Stir until smooth and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, espresso powder and vanilla extract until combined. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
