  • 1 pound ground venison

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground venison and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the oregano, chili powder, paprika, and cumin and cook for 1 minute.
