Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
This delicious garlic butter shrimp pasta dish is the perfect weeknight dinner! It is easy to make and full of flavor. Succulent shrimp, garlic, and butter come together to create a creamy, savory sauce that coats the pasta. Serve it with a side salad or vegetables for a complete meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until just pink, about 3 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth. Add the red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and add to the skillet. Toss to combine and cook for 1 minute, or until the pasta is heated through. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp pasta warm.
- Enjoy!
