This delicious vegan gluten free gourmet pizza is topped with caramelized onions, fresh figs and other savory flavors. It’s a healthy and delicious way to enjoy pizza.
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made gluten-free pizza crust
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup of fresh figs, sliced
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the oregano and red pepper flakes and stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
- Spread the onion mixture on the pizza crust and top with the figs. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
