Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined. Form into four patties.
  2. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the feta cheese, yogurt, cucumber, dill, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic. Mix until everything is evenly combined. Set aside.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns. Place the burgers onto the buns and top with the feta and tzatziki sauce.
  5. Serve with your favorite grilled vegetables and a cold beer.
