Honey-Glazed Banana Nut Bread with Pecans

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 tablespoons honey
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Mix together the honey and 2 tablespoons water. Brush the honey glaze over the top of the bread. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
