Indian-Style Pot Roast with Garam Masala and Yogurt

Ingredients:
- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup water

Directions:
