Tender chicken breast marinated in a zesty lemon garlic sauce and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is coated evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
- Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
