Minty Lamb Meatloaf

This delicious Minty Lamb Meatloaf is the perfect entree for any special occasion. It’s a combination of ground lamb, fresh mint, and a variety of other seasonings that will make your mouth water. Serve it with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans for a complete meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, mint, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, pepper, and salt. Mix together by hand until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
  6. Minty Lamb Meatloaf is best served with mashed potatoes and green beans.
