Minty Lamb Meatloaf
This delicious Minty Lamb Meatloaf is the perfect entree for any special occasion. It’s a combination of ground lamb, fresh mint, and a variety of other seasonings that will make your mouth water. Serve it with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans for a complete meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, mint, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, pepper, and salt. Mix together by hand until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
