Pepperoni, Mozzarella, and Marinara Sauce Omelet (Italian Style)
This Italian-style omelet combines the savory flavors of pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara sauce for the perfect breakfast or brunch treat. Start with eggs, whisk in some milk and seasonings, and add in the pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Fry the omelet until golden and serve with some fresh parsley for a delicious and filling meal.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup chopped pepperoni
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Melt butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture and let cook until edges start to set, about 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce over the top of the omelet. Cover the skillet and let cook for another 2-3 minutes until eggs are cooked through.
- Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
- To make the omelet fold, lift up one side of the omelet and fold it over the other side. Slide onto the plate and garnish with parsley.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients to make a second omelet.
