Pesto Pasta

This easy and delicious pesto pasta is perfect for a weeknight dinner. Made with fresh pesto, tomatoes, garlic, and a hint of parmesan cheese, this dish is sure to satisfy your Italian cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. pasta noodles of your choice
  • 1 cup homemade pesto sauce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the pesto sauce according to recipe instructions.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the cherry tomatoes and garlic. Sauté for about 3 minutes, until tomatoes are softened and garlic is fragrant.
  4. Add the pesto sauce and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet. Gently toss the pasta with the pesto sauce until it is evenly coated. Add a splash of the cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  7. Serve the pesto pasta warm and enjoy!
