Sage-Infused Apple Meatloaf

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup apple, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons sage, fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, apple, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf and drizzle with Worcestershire sauce.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
