Recipe: Salted Caramel and Pretzel Brownies
These Salted Caramel and Pretzel Brownies are an indulgent treat that combine sweet and salty flavors. The perfect balance of creamy caramel, crunchy pretzels, and rich chocolate make these brownies irresistable.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pretzels
- 1/2 cup Caramel bits
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt for topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until blended.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, pretzels, and caramel bits. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is lightly browned. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
