Shrimp and Grits Omelette
This delicious omelette is the perfect combination of creamy grits and savory shrimp. It’s a quick and easy dish perfect for a busy morning.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked grits
- 1 cup cooked, peeled, and deveined shrimp
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the shrimp from the pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Add the olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are almost fully cooked.
