Snickers-Topped Brownies
These delicious Snickers-Topped Brownies are the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Rich, fudgy brownies are topped with a layer of gooey caramel and chopped Snickers, making for a decadent treat that is sure to please any sweet tooth.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped Snickers bars
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Meanwhile, make the caramel topping. In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, light corn syrup, and 1/4 cup butter. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a low boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the caramel from the heat and stir in the chopped Snickers. Pour the caramel topping over the brownies and spread evenly.
- Bake the brownies for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
