Walnut Banana Bread Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Add the baking soda and salt and mix well.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it and placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.
