Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the mixture and stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 8-10 equal parts and roll each part into a ball.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll each ball into a thin, round tortilla.
  6. Heat a nonstick pan or griddle over medium-high heat.
  7. Cook each tortilla for 1-2 minutes on each side until it is lightly browned and cooked through.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas.
  9. Serve the tortillas warm with your favorite taco or burrito fillings.
