This delicious shrimp scampi linguine dish is the perfect Italian-style meal for any night of the week. Combining juicy shrimp, a flavorful sauce, and a bed of linguine, this easy-to-make dinner is sure to please the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. linguine
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions.
  2. While the linguine is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2 minutes more.
  4. Add the lemon juice, white wine, parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the pan. Toss to combine and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Serve the shrimp scampi linguine warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
