This delicious shrimp scampi linguine dish is the perfect Italian-style meal for any night of the week. Combining juicy shrimp, a flavorful sauce, and a bed of linguine, this easy-to-make dinner is sure to please the whole family.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. linguine
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
- 2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions.
- While the linguine is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2 minutes more.
- Add the lemon juice, white wine, parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to the pan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the pan. Toss to combine and cook for 1 minute.
- Serve the shrimp scampi linguine warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
